Brief Description:
The Amy Johnson Cup for Courage. 9 carat gold standing cup and cover. On round base with acanthus rim, baluster stem supporting campana-shaped body with a pair of handles, each formed of a winged woman or angel. The moulded lid has a pineapple finial. The body of the cup is engraved with an inscription '1930 / "Amy Johnson" Cup / for Courage' . On black wooden plinth. Manufactured by Edward Barnard & Sons Ltd of London, 1930. 9 carat imported gold.
