- Photograph of the entrance to the Hull Hebrew Congregation (and later the Hull Old Hebrew Congregation) synagogue on Robinson Row, Hull, taken in 1902. The building has a shield with an inscription, written in Hebrew and English, between the windows on the first floor. Originally built in 1826, it was re-built and re-consecrated in 1852. The image was taken shortly before the congregation moved to new premises on Osborne Street. The image has been mounted on card and the reverse has a note which reads 'Jewish Synagogue, Robinson Row, Hull. Founded .... New Synagogue built 1852. Photo: Feb 1st 1902 by L S Officer'.
